5G mobile service started simultaneously in 8 cities of India

15 October, Kathmandu. 5G mobile service has officially started in India. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 5G mobile service at the Indian Mobile Congress 2022 held in Delhi.

With this, the path of ultra high speed internet has been opened. 5G service has started in 8 cities of India including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Varanasi. The target is to expand across the country by next year.

In the program, Sunil Mittal, chairman of Airtel, informed about the launch of 5G service of his company. He has also claimed to make this service available across the country by 2024.

Reliance Group Chairman Mukesh Ambani has said that India is getting late in launching 5G services.

His son Akash Ambani is the head of Reliance Jio and Reliance Jio has not said when it will start 5G service.

But Mukesh Ambani claimed to start 5G service in every nook and corner of the country by 2023. This means that according to Indian media, Reliance’s 5G service can reach more people than Airtel.
