1 October, Kathmandu. Airfare paid by foreign nationals in Nepal is being reduced. Buddha Air has decided to reduce the Dollar Fair from January 2022.

According to the company, it has been decided to reduce the dollar fair by about 50 percent. The company also hopes that this will help in attracting tourists. Tourism entrepreneurs in Nepal were demanding the removal of the Dollar Fair.

Even the government tried to remove the dollar fair but without success. The company’s director of sales and marketing Rupesh Joshi said the decision is expected to be crucial in reviving the sluggish tourism business.

According to the company, the busiest route for tourists from Kathmandu to Pokhara will now be reduced from 106 to 65.
