Kathmandu. American Idol finalist Divesh Pokharel, better known as Arthur Gunn, is going to give a nationwide concert in Nepal.
Popular with his husky voice, he is going to give concerts in seven cities of the country in August. He is the first runner-up in American Idol 2020 and is coming to Nepal for the first time after that.
According to the concert organizer Brain Service, there will be concerts in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Nepalganj, Bhairahawa, Chitwan and Itahari. No decision has been taken yet regarding the Kakditta concert.
According to Risham Maharjan, founder of Brainservices, local bands including Arthur Gunn will also perform. There is also a plan to promote it as a goodwill concert with charity in collaboration with Nepal Tourism Board.
Brain Service has taken all responsibility for Arthur’s Nepal concert. “We are also preparing to organize a charity-style concert,” Maharjan told News Online.
On his arrival in Nepal, preparations are being made for a grand welcome for him at his home in Kathmandu. Arthur’s house is in Kalaki, Kathmandu. During American Idol, fans also held rallies in Nepal to win him.
