Call of Tourism Entrepreneur: Covid infection reduced, let’s make travel easy

Tour operators have called on the government to facilitate internal and external travel, saying that there has been a decrease in the infection of corona virus (Covid-19) in Nepal. He also met the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation and the COVID-19 Crisis Management Coordination Center (CCMCC).

The Chairman, Explore Himalaya Travels & Adventures… He has drawn the attention of the government that it is not mandatory for travelers who have completed vaccination against CoVID-19 to have any documents other than proof of vaccination.

Passengers who have completed the vaccination dose are asked to apply the 72-hour PCR report on arrival. PCR on arrival should not be made mandatory in case of passengers having COVID infection from 2 weeks to 90 days prior. Entrepreneurs have also demanded the provision of documents in case of departure as per the policy of destination, transit country and air service concerned. He said that the tour operator is committed to make the tourists and passengers follow other standards against Covid-19.
