Celebrating 51 days tomorrow, ‘Kabaddi 4’, ‘Thor’ earned 28.5 crores in seven days

Kathmandu. American superhero film ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ has done a good business in the first week at the Nepalese box office. According to Apple Entertainment, the Chris Hemsworth starrer has earned Rs 28.5 crore in seven days.

Apple’s Janish Pahari said the film is expected to cross the Rs 3 crore mark in the second weekend. “Given the current trend, it is estimated that it will cross three crores,” he said.

The ‘Thor’ series earned slightly less at the Nepali box office than ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ and ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’. But it has also left behind the earnings of ‘Batman’.

Meanwhile, the record-breaking Nepali film ‘Kabaddi 4’ is celebrating its 51st day of release on Saturday. The film has earned Rs 227.3 crore at the domestic box office in 42 days.

Will Kabaddi 4 cross 23 crores earned by Indian film ‘Bahubali 2’, which is the highest grossing record in Nepal? This has become a matter of interest.

Nepali film ‘Dokh’, which released last week, has performed poorly at the domestic box office. The film, directed by Anoop Baral, has been removed from all the halls. Though the reviews were good, the film could not release in the second week.
