Kathmandu. Billionaire Elon Musk’s Twitter buyout has spread around the world. Some have stood with Musk, while others have announced they will be leaving the Twitter platform, calling it a dark day for freedom of expression.
Some celebrities have said they will remain on Twitter long after the start of Musk’s era, while others have said they will leave the Twitter platform. Hollywood filmmaker Sonda Rhimes has announced the use of the platform.
Some other artists have also expressed concern that Twitter will become a platform for users to express hate speech. Rapper Kanye West is back on Twitter within hours of Musk buying Twitter. His suspended Twitter handle has been activated.
Earlier, rapper West was suspended by Twitter for giving hate speech. Sonda Rhimes, the producer of the film ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, which has a following of 1.9 million people, has announced that she has left Twitter. Another American filmmaker, Ken Olin, has also left the stage.
“Frozen” star Josh Gad has also expressed concern that Twitter will be affected after Musk’s arrival.
