4 October, Kathmandu. Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that dengue disease is now spreading because no lesson has been learned from the corona epidemic.
Speaking at the second national conference of the Nepal Medical Association on Tuesday, Thapa, who is also a former health minister, said the government’s lack of preparedness is the main reason behind the outbreak of dengue.
‘We can’t learn much from Covid now when it comes to dengue. After learning from Covid, it was seen that the government did not make necessary preparations. Doesn’t show much interest in building health infrastructure.
General Thapa said that political parties should also prepare agenda for the upcoming elections to spread awareness in the field of health so that they do not fall ill.
