20 September, Kathmandu. In the Eliminator of Bajaj Everest Premier League (EPL) 2021, Kathmandu Kings 11 has been given a target of 189 runs by Bhairahwa Gladiators.

Elected to bat first after winning the toss, Bhairahwa scored 188 runs in 20 overs for the loss of eight wickets.

Captain Sharad Bheshavkar played 20 deliveries for Bhairava and scored 49 runs with the help of 7 fours and 3 sixes. Sharad Lama, who reached close to the fast half-century, was caught by Sandeep in the last over by Amar Rautel.

Sharad shared a 61-run partnership with Kushal Malla for the fifth wicket. Similarly, Pradeep Ari scored 39, Upul Tharanga 35 and Kushal Malla scored 32 runs. Arif Sheikh added 15 runs.

Sandeep Lamichhane added 3 runs in the last over for the loss of 3 wickets.

For Kathmandu, skipper Sandeep Lamichhane and Ashan Priyanjan took two wickets each while Sher Malla, Jitendra Mukhiya and Janak Prakash took one wicket each.
