Gold price rises by Rs 1,200 per tola



March 3, Kathmandu. On Tuesday, the price of gold reached its highest level this year. According to the Federation of Nepalese Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs, gold, which remained stable on Monday, rose by Rs 1,200 per tola to Rs 96,700 per tola on Tuesday.

Earlier the price of gold was same as today. Today the price of gold has gone up to Rs 96,200 per tola. On Monday, gold was steady at Rs 95,500 an ounce and gold at Rs 95,000 an ounce.

Similarly, silver was priced at Rs 1,320 per ounce, which is Rs 20 more than Monday. According to the Federation of Nepalese Gold and Silver Entrepreneurs, the price of gold has once again increased in the international market.

According to international media reports, gold prices have risen sharply over the past five decades. Gold rose 3.90 per cent per ounce in international trade on Tuesday.
