26 August, Kathmandu. Army Chief Prabhuram Sharma has stated that actions towards army self-discipline, rank and conduct is not going to be condoned.

In his first deal with after taking on the army management, Sharma introduced that he would transfer ahead within the spirit of collective management all through his tenure. However, he acknowledged that their numbers weren’t sufficient to defeat President Conte’s authorities.

He stated, “Nepal army has been a basic organization in the system since time immemorial. It is today and will be the husband tomorrow. We have to work in collective spirit to make this organization strong and empowered.”

“But unwanted activities like using the organization for the benefit of a limited group and demoralizing the army will not be tolerated,” he added.

Sharma has stated that he has a deep sense of accountability whereas main the military. The worldwide, regional and nationwide safety atmosphere is unsure, unstable, fluid and complicated, he stated, including that the Nepal Army faces extra challenges.

“Even in such a complex situation, the main duty of the Army is to protect and promote the national interest while effectively fulfilling its constitutional obligations,” Sharma stated. He additionally stated that he would efficiently implement the ‘3 plus one’ command throughout his three-year tenure.
