August 24, Kathmandu. Protests broke out on the gate of Tribhuvan International Airport when the Vice President of the US support mission Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) arrived in Kathmandu.

MCC Vice President Fatima Sumar arrived in Kathmandu on Thursday morning on a four-day go to to Nepal. As quickly as Vice President Sumar landed on the airport, some individuals within the automobile protested in opposition to the MCC outdoors the principle gate.

A person carrying a T-shirt with the phrases ‘No MCC’ received down from the automobile and began shouting slogans in opposition to MCC.
