Nepal does not accept unilateral decisions in Kalapani region: External Affairs Minister Khadka

31 June, Kathmandu. Foreign Minister Narayan Khadka has said that unilateral decisions taken in Kalapani, Lipulekh and Limpiyadhura areas are not acceptable to Nepal.

Questions are being raised in Nepal regarding the removal of heavy camp in Kalapani area of ​​Nepal and the road built by India to reach Mansarovar via Darchula in Nepal.

Criticizing the Nepalese government for failing to take diplomatic initiatives to stop this, External Affairs Minister Narayan Khadka said that the unilateral decisions taken in the Kalapani, Lipulek and Limpiyadhura regions were not acceptable to Nepal.

“All areas including Lipulek, Limpayadhara, Kalapani belong to Nepal and unilateral decisions without mutual understanding in those areas and border issues are not acceptable to the Government of Nepal,” Minister Khadka said.
