Nepal Samajwadi Party leader joins Maoists

October 10, Butwal. More than 15 leaders who left Janata Samajwadi Party under Baburam Bhattarai’s leadership and joined Nepal Samajwadi Party have entered the CPN Maoist centre.

Central members of Nepal Samajwadi Party Yagya Pokharel, Atiullah Muslim and other leaders entered the Maoist centre.

Before joining Nepal Samajwadi Party, he was Vice President of Lumbini Province, Pokharel Chief Secretary and Laxmi Yadav Muslim Janata Samajwadi Party Secretary. Along with them, JSP state committee member Geeta Srivastava has also entered the Maoist center.

Chakrapani Khanal, in-charge of the Maoist center Lumbini province, welcomed him into the party. JSP state president Ashok Yadav said that apart from JSP state committee member Geeta Srivastava, there is no other leader-worker of his party.

Taking a jibe at Baburam Bhattarai, Pokharel, who joined the Maoist party, wrote on Facebook that ‘I have no complaint against anyone, I am a little ahead on the path shown by you.
