28 September, Kathmandu. Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has congratulated the Nepalese football team for reaching the finals of the SAAF Championship.
Nepal reached the final of the SAAF Championship for the first time after restricting Bangladesh to a draw in Wednesday’s match.
On Wednesday evening, Prime Minister Deuba congratulated the Nepali team through social media Twitter. He also wished the Nepalese team all the best for the upcoming games.
Deuba wrote on Twitter, “I would like to congratulate all the players, coaches and officials of the Nepalese football team who have reached the finals of the fair play football competition and wish them all the best for the upcoming game.”
Nepal and India will now clash in the final of the SAAF Championship. India won the title by defeating Maldives 3-1 on Wednesday.
