PM urges industrialists to open fertilizer factories

Deuba's second term: Enrollment of voters only

January 11, Kathmandu. Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has urged industrialists to set up fertilizer factories.

In a meeting with industrialists, businessmen and government representatives who returned to support the Afghan people at the prime minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Tuesday, Prime Minister Deuba called for setting up a fertilizer factory in Nepal.

He said that the government is ready to help industrialists and traders in setting up fertilizer factories. Prime Minister Deuba said, “Some governments have priorities, as it happens now, fertilizers are not a matter of priority, what to do?” Open that industry here. In many such cases an industry is needed to help. So we are ready to help you.

Prime Minister Deuba thanked the government for its assistance to the Afghan people, saying it was the government’s responsibility to provide humanitarian aid during the food crisis in Afghanistan. “Afghanistan has a serious food crisis. Even the United Nations, when Afghans are starving, needs humanitarian aid,” he said.

Describing the country as now infected with the corona virus, Prime Minister Deuba said that following the health standards, everyone should defeat the corona. He also urged everyone to get vaccinated against Corona as it is the first priority of the government.
