Qualcomm has brought a new chipset, now even cheaper phones will support FiveG

Kathmandu Qualcomm has unveiled a new chipset aimed at making Five G available even on cheaper phones. The company has unveiled a new chipset ‘Snapdragon 480 Five G’ which supports high speed internet even on cheap phones.

Earlier, Motorola had unveiled ‘Mota G Five G’ as the cheapest five G phone. It had a Snapdragon 750G processor. Its market value in Nepali market was about 32 thousand rupees.

Similarly, OnePlus Nord and Vivo V20 also came as cheap smartphones like Five G phones. But now Qualcomm has unveiled the Snapdragon 480 FiveG chipset which also supports FiveG for smartphones under Rs 20,000.

It is expected to help make high speed mobile internet accessible to all.
