Question of MP Suwal: Is it the responsibility of the Finance Minister to increase the stock market?


August 25, Kathmandu. Nepal Mazdoor Kisan Party MP Prem Suwal has questioned that it’s the duty of the Finance Minister to advertise the inventory market. Speaking at a gathering of the House of Representatives amid the UML blockade on Friday, Suwal stated that Finance Minister Janardan Sharma had known as up NRB Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari after the inventory market crashed.

He requested why the finance minister was a lot within the inventory market which benefitted a restricted variety of individuals. He stated, “There are 37 lakh investors in the stock market. The Finance Minister had said that only 100 people would benefit.” Then the market went down.

Suval, who had time to file a movement to reject the National Debt Enhancement Bill, had a special outlook on the inventory market. He was of the view that there shouldn’t be a lot concern in regards to the enterprise executed by a restricted variety of individuals sitting at dwelling.

Responding to a query raised by Suval, Finance Minister Sharma stated that he has no position in lowering or growing the market. Finance Minister Sharma stated, “The honorable Jew must have heard it somewhere outside, but it is not true.”
