8 November, Kathmandu. Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor’s declining career was taken to new heights with the film ‘Kabir Singh’ released in 2019. The Shahid starrer earned over Rs 250 crore. Shahid himself describes this film as the cornerstone of his career.
However, after the release of this film, Shahid has revealed that he has asked the makers to act like a beggar. Shahid revealed this on the occasion of the trailer release of the film ‘Jersey’ on Tuesday. “I didn’t have 200-250 crore experience before the release of ‘Kabir Singh’. So after the release of this film, I could not figure out any way to work in my mind.
According to Shahid, after the release of ‘Kabir Singh’ he had approached most of the film makers, who had earned between Rs 200 crore and Rs 250 crore. He also said that he had asked the producer for the film like a beggar.
Shahid also said that he did not feel like working in the film ‘Jersey’ in the initial days. Shahid starrer ‘Jersey’ is going to release on December 31.
