Kathmandu. Singer Taylor Swift has won the title of Video of the Year at the prestigious MTV Video Music Awards 2022, held in Nepali time on Monday morning.
Picking up the trophy, she announced that she was going to release a new album on October 21. She also set two records at the awards, winning Video of the Year three times in a row and Artist Who Directed Video of the Year.
He also won an award for his 10-minute long video ‘All Too Well’. Sadie Sink won the Best Director award for this video. Lil Ness X and Hurlow win Best Collaboration for ‘Industry Baby’.
Harry Styles won the Album of the Year award for ‘Harry House’. He also gave a musical performance at the event held at Madison Square Garden. Best K-Pop Blackpink Singer won by Lisa. South Korean pop band BTS won Group of the Year.
Lizzo won the award for the song ‘About Demon Time’ in the ‘Video for Good’ category. Became the first Latin American artist to win ‘Bad Bunny’ Artist of the Year. Hollywood actor Johnny Deep gave a surprise performance.
This time three singers hosted the event. LL Kool, Nicki Minaj and Jack Hurlow became Emmys. Minaj won the Michael Jackson Video Vineyard Award.
