2nd December, Kathmandu. The fifth round of the Shaheed Smarak A Division League is starting from today. On Friday, two undefeated teams Machindra Football Club and Sankata Club and another undefeated team Tribhuvan Army Football Club and Satdobat Youth Club will compete.
To maintain an undefeated run, the match between Machindra and Sankata will start at 4:45 pm at Dashrath Stadium. Former winners Machindra are at the top with 10 points from four matches.
Machindra have won 3 games and drawn 1 game. Sankat are in fourth place with 8 points from two wins and two draws. With the aim of defending the title, Machindra has also linked the game against Sankat to the title race.
