Thor’s aggressive debut at multiplexes, the future of ‘Dokh’ in ‘Word of Mouth’

Kathmandu. Marvel Studios’ Hollywood superhero film ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ has indicated an aggressive start at the Nepali box office. As of Thursday afternoon, more than 50 per cent of the tickets for morning shows of major multiplexes including QFX and INI have been sold in advance.

The same trend has been seen in One Cinemas and Big Movies, the operator said. INI chief Surendra Thapa told that on Friday morning the show was sold out at many outlets including Cineplex.

The Morning Show on QFX is almost sold out. It is being told that by Thursday evening it can reach 100%. Since it is a sequel to the famous superhero film Thor, the audience was waiting for it.

“The morning show may have been sold out by the fans,” Thapa told Online News.

Meanwhile, the commercial future of Nepali film “Dokh”, which is slated for release tomorrow, will depend on its word of mouth. Directed by Anoop Baral, this social drama has got a good response from the trailer. Viewers below the age of 16 are not allowed to watch ‘Dokh’.
