Twitter engineer fired, hacker hired

Twitter’s new owner Elon Musk has recently fired around 4,000 employees of the company. With the removal of old employees, it is expected that Musk will gradually recruit new employees in the vacant positions.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk has recently given a job on Twitter to a young man named George Hotz. George, who entered Twitter, is the same youth who came into limelight in 2007 by hacking an iPhone. He is the first person who unlocked the iPhone by hacking.

Earlier he was also associated with Elon Musk’s Space X company. Musk brought George to the Twitter company with the aim of solving the problems facing the search option on Twitter.

George Hotz has been given 12 weeks to accomplish what most Twitter engineers have been unable to do for years. “I’d be willing to do a 12 week internship at Twitter for the cost of living in San Francisco,” George tweeted.

Elon Musk replied on his Twitter with an offer to chat. Then Hotz said, ‘I can help document and clean up some of those 1,000 microservices in 12 weeks.’

George, known as the hacker, will continue as an intern at Twitter. They will only be kept for 12 weeks to fix a problem with the Twitter platform’s search option.

George Hotz is a young computer science graduate from Carnegie Mellon University. He has done internships in companies like Google, Facebook and SpaceX. He was the CEO of Comma.AI from 2015 to 2018. Now he’s got a deeper responsibility as an apprentice at Twitter from new boss Elon Musk.
