Two injured in Dhorpatan clash


May 31, Baglung. Clashes broke out between the ruling coalition and CPN-UML workers in Dhorpatan Municipality of Baglung district over a dispute over the location of the representative at the polling station.

Two people were injured in this clash and the condition of one remains critical. Indra Bahadur Rana, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office Baglung said that Bhim Bahadur BK, seriously injured, of Dhorpatan Municipality-9, has been admitted to Manipal Teaching Hospital in Pokhara for treatment.

Another injured, 40-year-old Khim Bahadur BK of Dhorpatan Municipality-1 is undergoing treatment at Burtiwang. The injured belong to the CPN-UML cadre.

According to Dayanidhi Gyawali, SP, District Police Office, Baglung, hundreds of leaders and workers from both sides were present in the all-party meeting held after 12 noon on Friday.
