August 3, Kathmandu. After the federal government amended the Act on Political Parties by an ordinance, the Election Commission on Thursday amended the principles framed for the implementation of the Act.
After the ordinance was issued to facilitate the division of events, the principles and rules regarding political events have been amended by incorporating provisions within the ordinance. The guidelines had been amended and revealed within the Gazette on Thursday.
The ordinance states that the events may be divided if the parliamentary events or the central committee represent 20 per cent. That provision has been included within the guidelines.
Similarly, the ordinance states that if there’s a cut up of a celebration, the general public representatives on the state and native degree need to resolve inside 21 days which get together to select from the pre-split get together.
For this, the members of the provincial meeting need to go to the provincial election workplace and native degree representatives to the district election workplace inside 21 days for identification.
