June 14, Mugu. Entry to Yarsagumba Collection in Patan area of Mugam Karmarong village will open from Sunday.
Yarsagumba found in various forest areas of the village municipality is being opened for collection.
Gram Panchayat Ward No. Yarsagumba Partan is found in various forests including Rimar, Thulo Koiki, Sano Koiki, Chapkhola and Charkul.
Chief Administrative Officer of Village Municipality Subhash Rawal said that the Village Municipality will charge fee for entering the forest area and the collector who pays the fee will be able to enter the forest on the morning of 15th.
He said residents of Mugu will have to pay Rs 2,000 and those from outside the district Rs 2,500.
The Village Municipality has urged not to affect the environment during the Yarsa collection.
The Village Municipality has urged the collectors not to throw glass and plastic items in Patan area, not to cut trees and plants indiscriminately and not to commit any theft during Yarsa collection. Security has also been tightened in view of the robbery taking place during the recovery of Yarsa. A joint team of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force will also patrol the Yarsa gathering area.
He said that after depositing the amount received from Yarsa collector in the account of Gram Panchayat, it would be spent on development works as per the decision of the meeting of the village executive.
